Our Client is among the most recognized manufacturer of reclaimed rubber from used tyres, up-scaled poly-amide from nylon waste and engineered products die-cut from end-of- life tyres. The company operates 4 business verticals (Reclaim Rubber, Industrial Polymers, Custom Die Forms, Retreading) with 7 manufacturing units across India.
Roles and Responsibility :





Job Title: Purchase Executive

Location: Mumbai

Required Qualification:  Diploma Mechanical / Electrical; Knowledge of SAP (MM)

Additional professional Qualification (if any):   Preferable with MBA in SCM, Materials Management etc.

Experience:        4-7 years


Key Deliverables:

1.Purchase of engineering and other materials or services

a)      Floating Enquiries & Obtaining Offers.: Identify vendors & Issue enquiry & obtain offers

b)    Preparation for Commercial Negotiations: Obtain Tech. Recommendation from users, Review requirement and obtain clarifications, if any, from user / Project Manager and vendors as case may be, generate comparative statement, Make arrangements for commercial negotiations

c)     Generate PO: Generate PO (in SAP), Send PO to supplier & obtain acknowledgment.

d)    Expediting: Expedite with vendor for supply as per CDD; This includes visit to vendor shop; Support Project Manager to meet the commitments.

2.     Vendor Development for engineering and other materials

3.     Managing MIS’s

Requisite Skills:



        i.            Understanding of purchasing life cycle.

      ii.             Knowledge of SAP (MM Module)

     iii.             Knowledge of basic computer skill.

     iv.            Knowledge of Reverse Auction process / E Tendering.
